Pepper Jack's was born on January 13, 2000 in Albany NY by two friends,
Chris Soden and Philip Stein. With our love for food and our love for
the capital district, we put our teamwork together to create Pepper
Jack's. We started in a small 600/sq ft space in the heart of the Pine
Hills neighborhood. In a short amount of time, with a lot of blood,
sweat, and tears it was obvious that a staple eatery in the Albany
landscape was being born. After two quick years we moved to an even
bigger location on the corners of Western Ave and Quail St, which we
resided at for 10 awesome years. During the conclusion of our lease, we
knew we needed to reach an even larger customer base. In 2010, with the
help of some very close friends, collegues, and team members we
relocated our business during one of the nastiest winters on record to
our newly renovated location at 192 North Allen St. Since then, we have
been working on our goal to provide a unique, great tasting menu to all
of the people who work, live, and party in the city of Albany.
